Description: PLEASE NOTE: Although this is a 52 card deck, with NO jokers, it is unevenly mixed with two designs of cards. (I don’t know if this was original or decks were mixed) The corner/edge of the box is torn and has creases, other tears and wear. Please see photos. I do not know the age of this deck, there are clues on the box to narrow it down: -There is a playing card tax stamp. These were discontinued in 1965. It appears to be the 10 cents version, which was issued until 1940. It could also be the version that was used until 1965. -The Empire Builder became air-conditioned in the 1930s. -It appears Winold painted these Glacier Park pieces in the 1930s and Great Northern consolidated with other railways in 1970 to become BNSF. -This style of logo was introduced in 1936. I would guess this deck is from somewhere in the range of late 1930s through the 1950s.
