Description: Beautiful vintage undated (believe to be 1890s) copy of the second edition of Charles Darwin's classic "Descent Of Man." End of preface dated 1874, no other dates listed. This is an example of Mcnally's higher end series of books, with gilt to top edge and beautiful publisher's cloth binding. In excellent shape- a bit of wear to edges, as pictured. Interior bright, clear and clean. I believe this was printed letterpress, but not positive. Really lovely, bright copy of an important book.
