Description: Mid Century Modern MCM George Nelson “Half Nelson” Brass Table Lamp Koch & Lowy 1970s Production The lamp features a weighted brass cylindrical base with a concealed light source, and has an adjustable reflective metal shade that allows directional light. The shade is able to be positioned in a vertical or a horizontal position. The lamp stands 18 1/2” with a diameter of 15” when the shade is positioned vertically. The cylindrical base measures 4 1/2” in diameter. The lamp is in very good condition, with slight scratches to surface. Please see photos. There is no flaking on bottom of reflector, however, there is significant flaking on the inside of the base (last photo); I assume from the heat of the bulb. Most of the lamps I’ve seen, the seller has removed the paint; some repaint it. I’ll let the buyer do that. Includes original three-way switch (hi, low, off) and appears to have the original cord. This lamp is extremely hard to find and was thrilled to finally find one. That was years ago and I just don’t have a good place for it. After years of buying, I’ve decided it’s time to start selling.
