Description: This nice French or Continental European syrup pitcher dates to about 1880. It features cherry blossoms and leaves against a wicker pattern background. It also has gadroon borders at its lip and base. It has a 1" hairline crack (only visible from the inside) extending from the lip. Also it appears that the handle has been reglued at some point in its lifetime. Additionally there is glaze wear to the spout and foot and an overall toning. The pitcher is 5" tall and 3 3/8" in diameter. Stock Number SAZ-229
