They experimented with many different styles through the years and made some truly timeless classic albums and songs. Freddie made one solo album ('Mr. Bad Guy'), as well as an album with legendary opera singer Montserrat Caball ('Barcelona'). There might have been more solo albums, as a deal was signed with CBS Records, but it was not to be. Freddie passed away in 1991 due to complications from HIV. Freddie Mercury and Queen leaves us a legacy of incredible music that still sounds amazing to this very day! The Funko Pop! Today we feature that legendary rock star Freddie with TWO different Funko figures! First up is 'king' Freddie (with a crown), as he wore on one of their tours. He was always rock and roll royalty, but this time he came out in a fur-lined cape, scepter, and crown! This fantastic Freddie figure was bought new, and never taken out of it's original box. It will come with a Pop protector. The figure is immaculate. The box is looking really, really good with one or two TINY specks that is a flaw. Easily a 9 or 9.5 out of 10 for the box! And the second Funko figure included in this rockin' good deal is 'Live Aid' Freddie! From that historic concert in 1985, to raise money and help feed those less fortunate in Africa. It's been said that Queen stole the show that day, and that's very hard to argue! Many artists were great, and put on a memorable show, but Queen rocked the house, and had everyone in the audience really into it and singing and clapping along! The band looked like they were having fun, and it was an amazing set... 'Live Aid' Freddie is here with his white tank top and jeans. And his microphone! Taking you back to that sweet decade almost forty years ago. I'd put Queen's performance up against ANY of the other bands, in both London and Philadelphia, as they made us all believe in Queen again. Bought new, and the figure never left the box.
