Artist: F.H. McKay was an alias (real Name was C. Hjalmar "Cappy" Amundsen), was Famous for his impressionist oil paintings of Homes / Houses and Sea / Sailing scenes in the New England Area. He was born in 1911 in Rockport Maine and passed in 1969 Not a lot is known about him, and seems to be a few conflicting dates out there and his paintings were supposedly exhibited in the 1939 worlds fair. I am not as familiar with this specific scene, but pretty sure its a New England home (Again, not an expert on this). Size of Art (actual artwork): 21" wide x 17" high (approximate, as the item is cover in the back, but this should be within a very small margin): Size with frame is about 24" inches high x 28" inches wide, but it is close approximation.
