Description: This is a fabulous, fancy, very rare, vintage (1950s) CENTURY TOURIST shaving brush. Made in the USA. It has never been used. The brass-colored metal lipstick style tube is in incredible condition. 2" in length closed, approx. 4" in length with the brush fully extended. There are no dents, scratches, or fading of any kind. The lettering on the casing is immaculate. The original brush within is made of sterilized pure badger fur and rises from its sleeve with a simple twist of the bottom (just like a lipstick tube). Since the brush is unused it is in very good shape as well. The whole thing is truly remarkable, and you are unlikely to find another one anywhere. This survivor is exactly what collectors are looking for. It doesn't get better than this! My dad bought this when he and my mom immigrated from London to Chicago in the 1950s.
