EARLY VINTAGE AL MAR EAGLE TALON SEKI JAPAN, EXCELLENT, UNSHARPENED (378)

ONLY POSTING A COUPLE A DAY SO BOOKMARK ME FOR FUTURE REFERENCE. NOTE - no attempt has been made to polish, clean or otherwise make this knife more attractive for photos. Mint. One of the earlier Seki Japan produced Al Mar Eagle Talon lock backs with the plain (not red) Al Mar “Chops”. I believe the scales are smooth polished micarta, but they really look like finely grained hardwood. I have no record of Al Mar ever having made these with wood scales, but could well be a custom design. See the photos. Measures approximately 4 7/8 inches long, closed at the longest points. Blade measures approximately 3 9/16 inches long, edge only. Beautiful satin finish bayonet stye blade, obverse stamped “Al Mar” with the Chop. Knurled thumb stud to obverse, Reverse tang stamped “Seki Japan”. Polished smooth micarta or hardwood scales (see note above) secured by four flush pins, blade pivot and lanyard hole lining. Lock back mechanism. Brass liners. Rock solid lock up and good snap to closed position. Scales and blades immaculate. Light surface scratching to blade pivot – no attempt made to buff out. Included is a ballistic nylon belt pouch and a Civivi fleece lined knife storage pouch and cleaning cloth. Please see the detailed photos which form part of the description.
