She states these are from the early Victorian era & are; "...truly embroidered works of art...exquisite example of fine needlework". The example in the book is without beading whereas this one has the beautiful intricate beading. I think the lovely bead work makes this all the more special! Thank you to the wonderful eBayer, Barbara, for her expertise in writing this listing. "Silk ribbon flowers with silk embroidery floss and small probably size 15/0 (read: fifteen ought) seed beads". The front is in Beautiful Condition with all beading & embroidery intact. As seen in the last two photos, the moire silk backing has some staining. From my own collection.
