Ozsell is gradually releasing from our extensive archives of originals, transparencies, negatives, and slides.Dracula is a 1931 American pre-Code supernatural horror film directed and co-produced by Tod Browning from a screenplay written by Garrett Fort and starring Bela Lugosi in the title role. It is based on the 1924 stage play Dracula by Hamilton Deane and John L. Balderston, which in turn is adapted from the 1897 novel Dracula by Bram Stoker. Lugosi portrays Count Dracula, a vampire who emigrates from Transylvania to England and preys upon the blood of living victims, including a young man's fiancée. I opened my first store in 1981 in Sydney trading as STARS ROCK AND MOVIE POSTERS, I ended up with a framing warehouse and four stores in total selling collectible music posters and movie memorabilia. I dealt with collectors worldwide and wholesaled rarities to collector stores across Australia. I secured exclusive deals with film distributors and over the years was fortunate to have acquired many rare and unique items - my policy was to sell them on as fast as possible. I used the services of a professional photographer to record most for my archive knowing that many of the rarities once sold would never be seen again The momentum that I created was shut down when I was diagnosed with a serious illness. The result caused me to shut down the stores and abandon my drive to expand the business. I continued to sell slowly through eBay for some years. I moved interstate in 2017 and went into the corporate world expecting never to venture into the collectibles and memorabilia world again, particularly seeing that my serious illness had again reared its head. I had a shipping container of posters which I ended up selling most of to a dealer in Queensland. He 'cherry-picked', so I was left largely with dross, although when I looked more closely I saw many hidden gems. Of course, I still had my transparencies and some surprisingly interesting items. My mission now is to clear everything and to be able to sit back and watch the world go by. This means lots of bargains to be had at the ozsell store.
