Description: This is a rare and valuable low grade comic book featuring the iconic superhero team of the Justice League of America. The story revolves around the outsider character of Batman (Bruce Wayne) and the elongated man. The comic book is a first printing, boarded, and is bagged.It also includes the first appearance of the character of the Outsider in Batman in this particular series. The comic book is in softcover format and is written in English. It is a general audience comic book with an emphasis on action, superheroes, and adventure. The issue number is 356, and it was published in 1966 by DC Comics. This comic book is a must-have for any serious collector of US Comics, especially those interested in the Silver Age (1956-69) era. This is a pre-owned comic from the Silver Age that has substantial defects and blemishes ,but is still is a reasonless solid book. The cover has significant surface wear including spine abrasion ( loose pieces, hanging chips, spine staples tears, cuts, nicks, stress lines and stress marks on the spine and smaller tears)1/16 inch) in spots on the spine.There is a spine tear ( 1/2 inch) bottom of the spine. There are small tears /scratches on the left bottom spine side. There are two crease bottom left side ( 2 inches), and more smaller creases, on the lower right corner. All four corners are abraded with a small tear(1/16 inch) upper left corner. There is some smaller cracking/scratching in a fee spots. Upper page edge has a few smaller crease and some light surface wear. The right edge has some surface wear (some light chipping, color breaks, nicks)and a some light discoloration on the edges. Overall colors/inks are decent/, gloss/sheen are lower, and reflectivity is low too. The interior pages are tannish, with decent colors, no missing. Advertisements, no cut outs, all pages are whole and intact. The back cover has some significant surface wear a tear(3 inches) from the bottom middle upward, along what looks like a subscription crease. The spine is abraded with smaller missing pieces, some loose pieces, cuts, tear along and near the spine area corners are abraded,some cracking, indenting in spots . The bottom has a smaller tear, corner cut on the right side spine , some light creasing. This is a lower grade pre-owned comic that has substantial surface wear on the covers , the comic is solid, and at a reasonable price. The book is complete , readable and collectible and valuable.
