Description: Presented here is a 2002 Salvino figure personally signed by Derek Jeter, New York Yankees Hall of Famer, inducted into Cooperstown in 2020 after a 20-year career with the Yankees. Selected to the All-Star team fourteen times, career batting average .310 and most games played as a Yankee (2,747) are but a few of the highlights of his career. The figure is numbered 24 of only 368 that were produced. Whether all 368 were actually signed is debatable from what we can determine. On the base, the figure is almost ten inches high. The badge on the underside of the figure states that it has been personally autographed by Derek Jeter and (see photos) the figure comes with a Certificate of Authenticity from Salvino Inc. and an attestation and label from Beckett Authentication Services. In the lower right-hand corner of the signature plate is a hologram with the Major League Baseball logo in the middle, the words "Authentic Autograph," and verification number R0029881.
