Description: When I saw this dress my jaw dropped! It’s BEAUTIFUL!!! It is a Dave & Johnny formal vintage floor length dress, made of rich chocolate brown velvet, adorned with sheer inserts decorated with intricate shimmering brown beads on the chest area. The back has the sheer beaded material down toward the waist and the bottom of the center back of the dress that draws the eyes through the beautiful detailing. The back sheer section goes pretty low but is still elegant and the beading is amazing. The strap design is very unique and beaded as well. Because of the cut of the dress, sheer material and beading I think it would pair beautifully with a simple choker and dangle earrings. This is a vintage piece, highly coveted and hard to find! The same style dress has sold for $800 on Depop and PoshMark! It is a “Pinterest favorite” dress for prom but would also be lovely for a fall or winter dress for a wedding guest or the perfect outfit for a dress rehearsal for the bride! I am a bit extra sometimes so I would also wear this to a fancy restaurant in the city or to a Dead show!
