Description: At the time I make this listing, I can find no other Cornell University yearbooks this early - not on ebay nor on any book site anywhere in the world. So it seems this volume is in the very least difficult to find. In addition to all of the black and white photos of faculty and students, there are many other wonderful photos in black and white - scenes of building, grounds and notable features of the university. This book is a great historical record of Cornell University over 120 years ago. Also 18 pages of illustrated advertising from local firms of the day Size of this book is 10 3/4" x 8 1/4". Has 285 pages plus the 18 pages of ads. Illustrated throughout. This listing is for one original, complete hardcover book. Free shipping to any of the 50 U.S. states. THE 1901 CLASS BOOK VOL V CORNELL UNIVERSITY 1901 (Because the spine has Vol V, I'm thinking this is only the fifth yearbook published by Cornell.) Book was printed in Buffalo N.Y. The biggest defect in this book is that the back of the rear cover has some bubbling - may have gotten wet at some point - not really much distracting. Otherwise overall condition is excellent. Very nice flowered endpapers front and rear. No interior markings, staining or foxing. No inscriptions. No library markings. No torn or bent pages. Binding sound. All text and illustrations clean and clear. Covers and spine very acceptable - very little wear even at the extremities. See photos please. Returns accepted with full refund if you are not satisfied.
