I will attempt to be as accurate as possible and I also package very well, but watches are somewhat delicate by nature, so please ask questions if you're not sure what you are buying. Also, please read my feedback and note that my BIN prices are usually under the selling point at end of auctions... this watch will look better in your hand than it does in the pics. This large Elgin 18 size looks solid and runs great. It's cased in a relatively low wear, 'Silveroid' [Nickel/Silver] case with normal surface scratches and minor marks, including some minor impressions in the case back [pressed out] but is generally quite attractive. The case is a threaded front, solid back model with a swing-out movement mount. The watch winds, sets [stem wind/set] and runs well, keeping good time, as it has been recently serviced. The visually clean, nickel movement appears all original. It's a Grade 336, Model 5, signed 'Elgin Nat'l Watch Co.' 'Safety Pinion' 'USA' '17 Jewels' and serial number '13471995', dating it to approx. 1908. The single sunk, Roman Numeral/Arabic indices, 24 hour porcelain dial is signed 'Elgin Nat'l Watch Co.' and has a sub second hand at 6 o'clock. It is a very nice dial, with only a couple of barely visible hairline cracks, but no chips, and the hands look original too. The thick, flat, true glass crystal looks original, as it has a few small scratches on it, but is generally quite decent. This is a very good looking watch, ready to add to your collection, or use as a regular wearer...you won't be disappointed!
