Description: Incredibly high quality piece of 19th century Chinese bronze work. The detail is impeccable and the stylistic choices made on this pot are truly amazing when you take time to look at them. It’s a real work of art in bronze, more so than many pieces of greater age and value. It was the sole bronze that crossed the block in the auction of Vartan Ghugasian’s estate. The collection was offered by Grogan & Co. of Boston, MA. The auction of around 400 lots brought in a total of over 1.2 million. The piece is in as perfect condition as one can imagine for one that’s around 125-200 years old. It is quite large at approximately 10.25” tall and approximately 12” handle to handle. The pot is signed/marked on the base. Shipping is ASAP! Thanks
