Carl Zeiss Jena 35mm F2.8 Biogon T* Coated Lens For Contax RF Mount *Tested/Read

Description: The lens is in working condition (aperture ring works well/focus is smooth), but is in very, very rough condition otherwise. T* coated. The housing has significant amount of wear with multiple dings, scratches,etc. it looks to be missing a screw but doesn’t affect functionality at all. This lens is best for creating mainly lomo/hazy/moody images, or for-parts. The front and back elements have significant amount of cleaning marks, a few fungus marks on the edge, along with some dust specs within the elements themselves. These will reduce the overall contrast of images and cause photos to look hazy/not sharp. Since this is a 35mm f2.8 Jena T* Biogon lens, it did not fit my contax I. Due to the large rear element, I think it may also not fit certain Contax RF cameras as well. Please double check online for compatibility. The lens is still very much usable as-is, since the core functions all work smoothly. I’m therefore selling the lens as-is. No caps but will be safely packed. Lens is made in Jena, Germany.
