Description: Very unique mineral specimen from Bradbury mountain in Pownal, Maine. Unique layers of striped quartz on albite and microcline feldspar with a chunk of black tourmaline schorl appx 1 x 3 x 4” very unique formations. It looks like there is some schorl under layering. the striping design on the quartz and variation of color and crystallization of the feldspar is very unusual . I used a wire brush to clean and polish this
