Brides in Love #28 CGC 7.0 F/VF (Charlton-01/62)

There is a quarter inch imperfection in the seam between the front and back case facings of the case, possibly a crack, but maybe a minor edge imperfection(like a bubble) to the case facing itself. If it is a crack, then it is the first one like it I have seen. It is visible as to size and location in the eight and ninth photo, about an inch from the top of the side edge, and lined up next to the "off-white to white pages" part of the grade sticker. This auction is for one CGC graded comic book. Brides in Love number 28 from January of 1962 in 7.0 Fine to Very Fine with Off-White to White pages. I must say that for a 7.0 the book presents remarkably well. The 54th Edition Overstreet would place the graded value of this book in 7.0 at a mere $13.00, which is decidedly under priced, and (even though I know we are not buying slabs... we are buying comic books) the CGC grading and encapsulating along with their shipping and handling fees would run you well over thirty bucks, and they just raised their rates. I have set the price at 230% of graded guide value plus eighteen dollars for the CGC grading(reduced to eighteen because of the slight imperfection, normally I would charge the full thirty or more), which, along with the eighteen dollars in shipping is, in my opinion, quite reasonable. Compare it to what other sellers are asking. This is a CGC certified grade, so you know what you`re getting. I may have a different opinion of the grade of a book than the CGC, but they ARE the recognized grading standard these days, and these differences usually are on older books. No returns on CGC graded books. They are what they are. The plastic case is the new style, and other than the seam issue it is in excellent shape with no other noteworthy defects. This book will ship securely packaged in a box, NOT AN ENVELOPE. It will be individually bagged, but you will most likely want to put a new bag on it, since the one it is now in is for protection, not looks, and it may show wear. It ships fully insured, so a SIGNATURE MAY BE REQUIRED. IMPORTANT NOTE ON SHIPPING: This CGC graded book will ship Priority(UNLESS your zip code begins with a 7, 8, or 9, in which case it will likely ship PARCEL POST.) for a total shipping cost of $18.00. Raw books ship MEDIA MAIL, which is the most economical way to ship these, so that is how they will likely ship, with tracking included. While this method is the cheapest it is also the slowest. Items COULD take ten days or so to arrive. Melmac ships at the Parcel Postage rate, unless Priority is the same cost(which it sometimes is...).
