Carpenter is a retired center who played in the NHL for 18 seasons before becoming the head coach of the Kunlun Red Star of the Kontinental Hockey League from 2017 to 2018. Prior to turning to coaching, he played in the NHL from 1981-82 until 1998-99. In his NHL career, Bobby played 1,178 games, scoring 320 goals and 408 assists for 728 points. He has the distinction of being the second American-born hockey player to be selected in the first round of the NHL Entry Draft and the first player to play in the NHL directly from high school after being drafted. Over his career, he played forthe Washington Capitals, New York Rangers, Los Angeles Kings, Boston Bruins, and the New Jersey Devils (pictured here). Hand signed by Carpenter; the photo comes with a Certificate of Authenticity provided by Full Time Authentics verifying authenticity. It also has the Hologram assigned by the NHL as a Licensed NHL product. Both the COA and Hologram are shown in the photos.
