Description: BING & GRONDAHL (B&G) 2007 Figurine Marie Playing the Tuba From the Bing & Grondahl annual series of figurines “The Little Orchestra”, this is the 2007 edition showing the little girl Marie playing a tuba. She sits in a chair and is wearing blue overalls and a straw hat adorned with a red flower. Hand painted in bright colors. Nicely detailed in the venerable Bing & Grondahl tradition. Height approximately 4 inches (10 cm), fully marked on the bottom including the three tower trademark of B&G. Designed by Sven Vestergaard. Comes complete with original box (which shows a little shelf wear after 17 years). Discontinued in at the end of 2007, but I still have a few in inventory that have been sitting in storage for more than 15 years. I have it priced less than its 2007 wholesale price!
