Description: Maker: This fabulous floral square vegetable or serving bowl is by Denmark's Bing and Grondahl, which has produced superb quality ceramics since it was created in 1853. The three towers of the green B&G mark that appears on the reverse derive from the coat of arms of the city of Copenhagen. Design: The pattern - called Saxon Flower - is a beautiful expression of classic Scandinavian design. It features a bold display of colorful flowers against a pure white background, with a textured basket weave band. Size: The bowl is 8 3/4 inches square and 2 1/8 inches tall. It weighs 2 pounds 2 ounces. Condition: It's in excellent condition with no marks, nicks, chips, cracks, scratches, stains, discoloration, crazing, repairs or wear. There is a tiny spot on the edge where the gold paint is missing. The glaze is intact over it, indicating that it was created in the manufacturing process. It's shown in the photo with the red arrow. Please check all the photos very carefully - they are an important part of the description.
