Description: BETTY BRONSON portrait (1932) NEWS about Peter Pan's marriage Subject: Betty Bronson Description: Great shot of actress BETTY BRONSON in this original 6" x 8" news still announcing her marriage at 22-years of age to Ludwig Lauerhass. Interestingly, before this marriage, actor Douglas Fairbanks, Jr. fell hard for Betty Bronson but his love went unrequited. Ms. Bronson's career started in Silent movies, and she found success early when she scored the coveted leading role of PETER PAN (1924). She played Mother Mary in BEN-HUR (1925) and over the years worked with Al Jolson, Jack Benny, Gene Autrey, Bette Davis and others. My favorite role of hers was as Miss Jospehine in Sam Fuller's THE NAKED KISS (1964). Condition: FINE with general wear and a snipe on the backside. Please examine the PHOTOS. Additionally: We have over a thousand vintage stills starting from the Silent years - both studio and news release/publicity photos in a variety of condition - so if you are looking for a specific actor, actress, director or scandal please let us know and we'll see if there is something in our archives. Shipping: This will be mailed with an acid-free backing board/bag between two pieces of thick cardboard in a sturdy mailer. We can combine shipping on multiple orders, or reimburse you as it is appropriate for the envelope/package size. Feedback is appreciated and please check-out our other CINEMA CELLAR auctions now and in the future!
