Bernardaud Limoges Metropoles Paris Dinner Plate - 10.5"

Description: This dinner plate by Bernardaud is from the coveted Metropoles line, which features cities from around the world. This is the Paris plate, whose wide border spotlights iconic French landmarks, including the Eiffel Tower and the Basilica of the Sacré-Coeur, as well as the national flag of France and the infamous Moulin Rouge. This plate, which measures 10 3/8 inches, is in very good condition: There are no chips, no cracks and no crazing. Its white, glossy center has absolutely no scratch marks that I can see. Its golden rim is rich, matted and fully intact. Flaws? See the last 6 photos. There are a few faint scratches on the plate's outer and inner golden rims, and two more noticeable scratches on the outer golden rim. There is also the slightest bit of blotchiness in parts of the gold trim, but this appears to be original to its production since all of the plates that I have from the Metropoles line share this trait. There is one tiny white dot in the white portion of the plate that I cannot remove (see very last photo). Despite these small imperfections, this plate, with its rich, dark colors, is stately and stunning. *Please note: I also have the Moscow, Rome and London Metropoles plates listed on eBay.
