Description: This auction is for a Hand Modified Belly Dance 5 pc Black Silver Gold Iridescent Costume - 2 Skirts, Coin Hip Scarf, Bra 38B + belly dance necklace. The circular black opaque skirt was made from a pre-owned ball gown and trimmed with silver & gold sequin. This circular skirt has two panels on the non-roll elastic with 1/4 of material in front and the rest of the material in the back. The overskirt and bra material came from a blouse and looks like silver studs but shines iridescent on certain angles - hard to take pictures of this. Pictures can not show or do this shine justice. The overskirt is three panels on elastic and can be moved on the elastic to where you would like to have them. The silver coin velour material hip scarf was bought new on eBay and gold sequin trim was added at the top. The bra is a Maidenform with underwire, adjustable straps, thin padding, and a size 38B. The bra drape is a chain necklace that was pinned onto the bra. It could be taken off and worn separately, or you could change it's position on the bra, or you could sew it on permanently. Pins were used a lot when I danced in the 80's and 90's. The belly dance top necklace is included in the auction. All pieces are in very good condition. All my hand modified costumes have never been used before to belly dance. These costumes are unique and one of a kind. Measurements: Black Opaque Circular skirt: elastic hips are 29" stretching to approx. 56". Length is approx. 31". Elastic can be added or taken out as needed. Measurements: Iridescent over skirt: elastic hips are 30" stretching to approx. 60". Length is 24". Elastic can be added or taken out as needed. Measurements: Coin Hip Scarf: length is 53", and width is 11". Measurements: Belly dance necklace: 16" not including the 3" dangle chain. Pendant is 4" X 3".
