When they break you might as well throw theframe away. The groove that is left unfilled is a good hiding place for hive beetles. The one-piece solid top bar is easier to clean(This is why I switched). The bees tend to follow the sloped or beveled top bar better.Why Us We use state-of-art-equipment to make smooth high precision cuts. We only use select grade wood. We guarantee our frames will fit any standardLangstroth hive box. Our frames work with any un-capper. Joints will be stapled and glued. Our bottom bars are “not” grooved. These bottom bars are stronger and hive beetles cannot hide on our flat surface. Our deep end bars have the option of 4 pre-drilled holes forwiring to provide extra strength.
