Description: This is a beautiful Portmeirion soup tureen with lid and ladle in the 'Birds of Britain' pattern, which has been discontinued. This measures approx 11 1/4" wide and 12 3/8" tall with lid. Great quality stoneware or earthenware made in England. It is dishwasher safe, although I would probably hand wash. Richly decorated with birds of Britain on tureen, lid and ladle. The ladle does have a chip on the edge of the bowl which I've shown in the photos. That is the only flaw that I can see in this set. Start planning for the upcoming holidays. This will make a great presentation piece to your dining room. Please check the photos for further details, and ask any questions before bidding.
