Description: This listing is for an antique original Watercolor Painting signed only as BBH. I believe it to have been painted between 1890 and 1910, based on the style and materials used. It is in nice condition for its age, with beautiful colors. It depicts a picturesque river during the sunset, mid-winter. The combination of the glowing sunset set against the snowy banks & bare tree & dead grasses / shrubs sets a stark contrast unlike most paintings I have seen like it. In the background a tall hill or low mountain looms on the horizon. Unfortunately I have not been able to find much of anything about this artist. The design is excellent for many rooms and a large variety of decor styles. It makes this an excellent staple piece for your collection, one your friends definitely won’t have! A great collectors item, for use display gifting or decor. It is in good condition, with no major damage. See photos for details. Has some minor aging, but it is in nice shape.
