Description: From Barneys New York's "Taste Luxury Humor" label, this is a women's blazer jacket from the early 2000s. It features delicate, feminine details such as rounded notched lapels with a little pintuck on the top section. There is also a pintuck at the wrist. The shoulders are narrow and the sleeves are slim and fall a bit above the wrist. The shaping comes from slightly curved front seams near the side edges that start from the underarm and run to the hem and seams that run from under the bust to the hem. In the back there is a center seam and two side seams that are more curved than the front ones. Closure is with two large internal snaps that are covered with hand stitched grosgrain. The fabric is a dark gray silk linen matka. Silk linen matka is a woven 100% silk with naturally occurring slubs and ridges throughout its surface. The slubs give the fabric a textured linen-like look, but the touch is very soft because it is silk. The body is lined with a light beige cotton and the sleeves are lined with a black silky fabric. Beautifully made in Italy.
