A wonderful Crewel-work fabric This textile would make a spectacular wall hanging!~ The front is an antique hand embroidered crewel panel, dating from the c 1920-1930's ~the ground is a heavy cotton with linen weave. and the embroidery is all in wool ~ lovely Crewel work panel, it would be such a gorgeous textile for hanging from a rod and used decoratively or lovely too made into a door curtain! ~ Warm darker tones of tobacco ground, with black, golds, greens pinks blues reds s red ~ you name it! A work of art ~~ A lovely work of art! ~ MEASUREMENTS: I'm selling this fabric by the half, so each purchase is for a length that measures : 53 inches wide and 53 inches long ~ if you would like to purchase the full long panel, simply add it to your cart and then change the quantity to 2 and you will receive one long 53 inches wide by 106 inches long piece CONDITION: This textile is in as found, not freshly laundered condition. This panel has some pale age marks on each end of the panel , please use the zoom feature to view them exactly ! They are on each side of the textile. The ends have been hemmed in the past.
