Description: Very unusual redware military ( Figure in uniform) figural jug or storage jar. Green glaze seen with early French or Italian redware. I am not sure of the exact age of this pottery but I think it may date to the 1700's based on the the uniform style. I have 2 others like this , but all are different as they are hand made . I may put up the others for sale or auction in the future. Displays well and from my collection. Unmarked that I can see but felt padding covers the base.
