Description: This is a charming and quaint Antique Primitive Old 19th c. American Folk Art Girl & Rabbits Oil Painting on wood, depicting a young girl in a field, seated in tall grasses next to two white rabbits. In the lower right corner are two large flowers, and a blue sky above. Based on the subject's clothing, I would guess that this piece dates from the 1870's - 1890's. This piece appears to be unsigned, but perhaps you recognize the artist or their work? Approximately 9 3/4 x 18 3/4 inches. Good condition for over a century of age, with mild scuffing and edge wear throughout (please see photos.) Acquired in Southern Texas, United States.
