Description: Antique Gilded Age 1880s Rare Red Prattware with unbelievable Detailed Aristocratic, Horse and dog Boar Hunt Scene. This jar/pot measures approximately 4-1/4" (10.8 cm) in height and is 2 3/4" (7 cm) in diameter. It is exactly like the classic powder blue Prattware pots that are more common. This one dates to around 1870 to 1890's Pratt made red stoneware pitchers that were marked. This is not marked but definitely a Pratt. There's obvious wear, cracks and chips on its bottom side and 1 on the top rim. That's also some staining and black marks in spots around its perimeter. Overall the scene takes center stage on this piece and, in my opinion, makes the wear irrelevant. Even with the wear the piece stands and displays beautifully!!
