Description: RARE Antique 1904-1930 Kelly Charleston, WV. EMBOSSED Half hatchet / Carpenters Hatchet. Beautiful HAMMER HATCHET detailed stamp. Not nearly as sought after or collectable as the Black Raven but equally, if not more so, rare and hard to find. At the time I got this it was only the third one I had ever seen or could find. I've since found 2 more out there making 5 total. Nice deep stamp. Beautiful phantom bevels. 6 inch head with a 3.5 inch bit. Shockingly good condition for its age. Minor surface rust. Remnants of maybe green paint? Three small dings you will see pictured. Not over sharpened or abused in any way. Weighed in over a pound- 18.68 ounces or 1.168 lbs.
