Description: Exquisite antique lawn dress from the early 1900s. Fine cotton batiste. From the sides and back, an over-layer on top of the bodice and waist area. Floral embroidery in white and 4 three-dimensional florettes at the top of the bust area. Lace inserts on the sleeves and in the front and back. The skirt section is unlined with crochet lace and pin tucking. All measurement taken with the dress lying flat: Bust is 36 inches. Waist is 31 inches. Hips open to 48 inches. Shoulder from seam to seam is 16-1/2 inches. Sleeve is 10-1/4 inches long. Length from the shoulder to the middle of the waistline is 12 inches. Length is 49 inches from the shoulder. Buttons, hook and eyes and snaps close the dress in the back. A couple of repairs at the back of the waist section, but they are covered by the overlay so you don’t see them. A small repair at the hem of the skirt, not at all noticeable. Wonderful condition considering its delicacy and age. I am always happy to answer any questions. Be sure to zoom in to see detail.
