Description: Great piece of 1890s early American pressed glass work. This set is most likely a marriage of green and clear glass butter dish pieces, as others I’ve seen are all green. The bottom plate has nice scalloped edges and cut star designs underneath. It feels like there may be one tiny chip to the raised ridge that holds cover in place. The green domed cover is in great shape. Being pressed glass, there are a few bubbles and lines in the glass. Most can be seen in the last photos. Most are just pressed lines in the glass. One looks like a crack leading off from a bubble, but I can’t feel a crack when I run my finger over it. Gold striped lines are in good shape, with little wear. The handle has most of the gold worn off the top, some can still be seen. See photos with ruler for size.
