Description: I am so sorry about these photos. This lovely casket is not as dull as these photos make it look. With a Flash it looked way to glimmery and with out it looks so dull. I could not find the right lighting for this piece. It's fabulous...... Absolutely beautiful antique Empire Art Gold E & JB jewelry casket. This piece is basically 100 years old. In excellent condition. The top of the box shows some beautiful filigree work with 17 original jewels. Working hinge lid. Original gold tone velvet lining which is in excellent condition for its age. This piece is 4 &1/2" by 4 &1/2" square. Stands an inch and a half tall approximately and is footed. Such a beautiful piece needs a nice little cleaning but other than that it is just lovely. I see no dents no dings, few scratches on the very bottom where no one sees and I'm guessing that's just dresser marks. Just an absolutely lovely lovely piece. This piece will be fully insured and packed with the greatest of care for shipping.
