Description: Beautiful Antique Chinese Export porcelain Famille Rose celadon plate. Decorated in family rose palette with somewhat unusual decorations. Among typical flowers and butterflies there are also small pumpkins, berries etc . The plate is marked. To the best of my knowledge likely made during late Qing - probably sometime third quarter of 19thC. Condition: there is a chip repair on the rim (underside). It doesn’t affect the front of the plate. Otherwise good antique condition considering age. There are typical condition imperfections such as rough areas and minor scabs along the rims and on the foot, number of firing imperfections, use marks and scratches, and wear to enamels and gilt around rims. Use related marks corresponding with age. Please see photos as they are part of the description. Measures approvimately 10.25” wide. This plate came from a prominent estate in Washington DC.
