Description: Small size antique carpenter or machinist chest made of wood, dovetailed corners, iron bail pull type handles that stylistically suggest that it was made in the 1860s or 1870s, but we're not by any means certain. Includes a sectioned tray that fits in neatly. Internal brass hinges. Has a lock but we do not have the key. Measures about 23 inches long, 12 inches wide, 9 inches tall. The chest has a lot of character and is good and sturdy. There is a non-structural crack to the lid and one to the bottom, as well as some dripping to a small portion of the top lid that looks like old wax but is pretty solid. Show other signs of wear that would be expected with its use. Very clean item that was used inside a house for many years for miscellaneous storage. We've provided a lot of photos so that you can see condition details. We pack securely and ship promptly. This will be shipped in a carefully packed box. All shipping includes tracking. NOTE: we're offering both USPS and UPS options for shipping, one may be better than the other based on your location so please check both shipping options.
