Description: This is an original antique (1920s) two socket cast metal table lamp with curved panel shade that is missing the glass. This lamp would have originally had curved slag glass panels inside the shade, but those need to be replaced as they are all missing. The casting on the lamp and shade features ornate floral and feather patterns with some lovely cutout filigree framing the shade panels, which would be stunning filled with colored slag glass. The lamp is in very good original condition. The entire lamp and shade have the original polychrome finish in golds, green, and blue. There is very little wear to the finish, just a few small flakes and a little wear on corners and edges. The shade has two repairs (cracks near the top that were soldered and concealed with matching paint) and the entire piece is solid. There are a couple tiny pieces of filigree missing from the shade panels as well that are not noticeable. All the glass clasps are intact so new pieces of glass could be secured in place using the original clasps. The original cap and finial are intact. The sockets have been replaced but the original pulls are there and both sockets are working. The cord is mint. There is a newer piece of carboard and felt glued to the bottom and the lamp is unmarked as far as I can tell. The lamp measures 16" in diameter x 22" H. It will be packed securely and fully insured during shipping. Please provide a street address for shipping as this will not be delivered to a PO box. Advertised shipping cost covers shipping within the lower 48 states only. Please ask for a shipping quote to AK, HI, or Puerto Rico.
