There is no slag on any of the castings The stand is made from 4 bolted together removable parts: base, column, holder, and handle. The stand appears to have had a 3-inch deep, 5-inch diameter removable glass or metal ash and sand tray. Unfortunately the tray is missing. The top as two (2) cigar/cigarette rests and what appears to be a holder for some type of lighter. The handle is easily remove-able and the stand could re-purposed as a plant stand. The stand has a "new" several step antique gold finish (repainted), clear-coated, and hand rubbed. Measurements: 26+1/2" high, base and top outside diameter both 8+1/2" Pictures are of the actual smoking stand. Sight variation among the photos is the result of light and color balancing and exposure. The Stand weighs over 6 pounds. To adequately and safely package the stand "calculate shipping' is based on an 11-pound parcel (parcel size 20" x 10" x 10") via UPS Ground.
