Description: Antique 1910 HOLY WATER FONT with WOOD ALTAR BOX LAST SUPPER & CONTENTSThe Holy Water Font is Metal & attached to a Tongue & Groove Wood Box with Cardboard Drawer. The Holy Water Font is attached to the top of the box. There is a Metal Plaque of the Last Supper attached to the front of the box.The Inside of the box is stamped:"Altar Sick & Call Outfit TRADE MARK REGISTERED MADE BY THE HOMAN MFG. CO. CINNCINATI, OHIO U.S.A. PAT'D. JAN. 11, 1910".Wood Altar Box: The Drawer is cardboard & covered with paper. The paper is worn around the edges & is stained. The inside of the drawer is stained due to the wax melting. There are some other stains also. Most of the cloth tab used to pull the drawer open is missing. Approximate Measurements: 7.75" W x 5.5" x 4.75" H.Holy Water Font & Last Supper Plaque: The Holy Water Font is attached to the top of the box & the Last Supper Plaque is attached to the front of the box. Most the silver plate is worn off both pieces. The white residue on both pieces appears to be dried silver cleaner. Approximate Measurements: Holy Water Font: 6" W x 3.75" D x 4.5" H. Last Supper Plaque: 5.5" W x 3.75" H. The Drawer contains the following:1. Round Silver Plate Tray: The Tray is engraved with Leaves & Grapes. There is a monogram in the center: "IHS" (possibly). The Tray is marked: "SICK-CALL OUTFIT (trade mark symbol) PAT'D. APRIL '97 QUADRUPLE PLATE HOMAN SILVER PLATE CO. (anchor) SPECIAL (bucket & hammer) METAL". There is some wear to the plating & some residue here & there. Needs to be cleaned. Approximate Measurements: 4.5" D.2. Two (2) Cloths: Stained & dirty! Need to be cleaned. Approximate Measurements: 10.25" x 10.25".3. Small Metal Brush with Horsehair Bristles. The Silver Plate on the Handle is worn & missing in places. The Handle is designed with a Cross on each side. The Bristles are worn & some are missing. Approximate Measurements: 3.5" L including bristles. 4. Two (2) Melted Candles ... unusable due to melting. They were in the box; so, will leave them.
