There are no markings on it and no information It is heavy iron most likely Cast and def not bronze as it has magnetic properties to it. it has patina'd from time of antiquity Sitting Buddha popularity peaks in Nepal where he is a central figure / god in Buddhism. This piece is ancient, have no history other than purchased it over 30 years ago at an estate from someone who collected Ancient Buddhist pieces & Buddha was pretty much same condition as it is today Tibetan Buddhism.
