Description: Hello Friends! For sale, an Amiga external floppy drive adapter with cables. Works with Goteks and real Amiga drives. All you need is this kit and an Amiga floppy drive or Gotek. Works with all Amigas. Drive not included. I sell the heck out of Goteks, and people kept asking if I sold the external adapter. A lot of people just want to plug their Gotek in to the external drive port as a second drive. Here is my own design for an external adapter using active logic components, rather than just a cable or a simple circuit board. This design more closely matches circuitry inside real amiga external drives, and is therefore more compatible. You can even use it with real Amiga floppy drives. When I bought one of these years ago, it came with annoyingly short cables. As a better option, I had extra long (18"/50cm) ribbon and power cables made for this adapter (see picture). As designed, this allows you to have an external drive (i.e. DF1). You do not have to alter the jumpers on your Gotek or your Amiga drive, just leave the device configured as DF0:, and this adapter will do the rest (this is the same as with any original Amiga external drive housing).
