Description: The Historian in Residence at the Tampa Bay History Center wrote that there was no single original source history of the Second Seminole War than this diary of Lt. Henry Prince from 1836 to 1942. This little book has a four page Forward, a six page Preface and a six page Introduction. It also has a 13 pages Notes, a 2+ page Bibliography and an Index. To top it off it has 46 Illustrations and a map of "The Florida of Henry Prince" on the endsheets. A nice little book for a somewhat little war. I included a scan of the front dust jacket flap (see pic #4) to give you more information on this book. Free CONUS media mail shipping.
