Description: DESCRIPTION: EX-LBRARY - Random House 'World Landmark Books,' 1953, illustrated (in brick red & black, by the great Cyrus LeRoy Baldridge), 183 pages (including the index). Hardcover/library binding, 8-1/4" x 5-1/4" x 1". Overall in GOOD CONDITION. The volume has the expected minor shelf-wear (mainly bumping, slight wear to the corners and edges), as well as some markings, stickers and stamps that you expect with an ex-library volume (please see my pictures here), as well as numerous 'DISCARD' stamps (mostly inside the covers). There's fading and some slight backward roll to the spine, but the binding is otherwise very solid, but pliant (again, please see my pictures here). The pages of the text itself (not counting the title pages, free endpaper, etc.) are unmarked and remarkably clean, with just a few unfolded dogears, but little age-toning (again, please see my pictures here).
