The report by the commission is interesting but the bound in illustrations are wonderful. Some are in color and page sized: Bird prints are by Louis Agassiz Fuertes (world famous bird painter) . Fish plates are by S. F. (Sherman Foote) Denton. Mammals are by Oliver Kemp (he also did Saturday Evening Post) other illustrations are by Henry S. Watson (Scribner's) and Hon. George M. Bowers.
