Description: 3D painting Mother Earth 6 of Wands Turquoise found objects altered art. Canvas is 24 x 12" but some of the layered pieces extend a few inches beyond that. There's tree bark, cardboard, a tree branch, leaves, fabric flowers, and a cicada and june bug (no worries, insects were not harmed in the process but died a short-lived but natural death.) The idea behind this piece of art was to show how Mother Earth always will win the fight with humanity, engulfing the concrete and steal beams along the way. When I finished I realized that I had a secondary theme in there which is the 6 of Wands tarot card. At its core, this card marks a triumphant moment, which is rather appropriate since Mother Earth is triumphing over humanity here.
