Description: Up for sale, a 2021 Fender Traditional II Late ‘60s Jazz Bass in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. This rare “Made in Japan” FSR (Factory Special Run) model was produced in very limited quantities for a single dealer in Japan, Ishibashi, featuring a gloss Olympic White finish with matching headstock, red tortoise pickguard, bound rosewood fingerboard with block inlays, and reproductions of Fender's "lollipop" tuning machines. Plugged in, this Jazz Bass has plenty of power and warmth on tap: the bridge pickup has the burp and presence that ensures a Jazz Bass cuts through in ensemble situations, and it's easy to dial in the right amount of midrange growl and fundamental thump when balancing the sound between the two single coils. The tone can get quite smooth and wide too, simply by rolling off the bridge pickup Volume and Master Tone control, for a thick sound that doesn't lack definition.
