These are not the cheap 3D plastic plated pieces, these are super thin marine vinyl at just 6 mils thick, less than half a fingernail thickness! And are totally waterproof, UV resistant, and will last you 10+ years without fading or wrecking the paint finish underneath! You can also clear-coat after install for lifetime longevity, which makes WASHING and WAXING directly over top VERY EASY!
